Wedded Bliss

It has been five years today. Can you believe it? We were reminiscing about it this morning. I told him I didn't even want to remember it. I was so glad when the whole thing was over with.

Never was I the type of girl who dreamt about her wedding, planned anything about it or even really thought about it at all. I could have cared less, really, especially by the time I was 36. Throw in an entire life change, a move across the country, leaving family, friends, and a job I love, then add wedding stress to it. Never again. Thank God I don't have to do it ever again. It was awful.

Don't get me wrong. Getting married was the best thing that ever happened to me. I am happy, have a wonderful husband, have a wonderful family, have wonderful in-laws, and am out in the country living the life I always wanted. But I am just as pleased that my wedding day was 5 years ago and that most of the bad memories of it are receding into the mists of time.

Ha.

Happy Anniversary Dear!

Thank you all!

jel-at the time it WAS that bad.

21094-haha...I loved the job...there were other things that weren't as good; like the whole politics of the working a government job. But that wasn't too bad either.

tljw-thank you. Time flies, doesn't it?!
